Robert N. Sacks, formerly of Morrison & Foerster and Ross, Sacks & Glazier, is a 1986 graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles School of Law and a 1981 graduate (With Distinction) of the University of Wisconsin. Bob is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, and is a member of its Fiduciary Litigation Committee. Bob currently serves on two Standing Committees and is the immediate past Group Chair of the Litigation, Ethics and Malpractice Group of Committees of the American Bar Association's Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section. He is the former Chair of the Probate Litigation Subcommittee of the American Bar Association's Litigation Section's Real Property and Probate Litigation Committee. Bob has lectured on estate and trust litigation topics for the Los Angeles County, Beverly Hills and American Bar Associations and for programs sponsored by Stanford University, the University of Miami, and University of Southern California, among others. Among Bob's publications are: the "Probate Court Supervised Mediation Program Guide For Attorneys and Parties," which was regularly distributed by the Probate Department of the Los Angeles County Superior Court; "Mediation: An Effective Method to Resolve Estate and Trust Disputes," published in Estate Planning magazine; and "Pitfalls and Potholes: Lack of Capacity and Undue Influence," published in The Journal of Gift Planning. Bob's practice emphasizes trust and estate litigation and mediation.
